BCRFQ — Vendor Quotes

Run the whole quoting cycle inside Business Central — from a customer inquiry, out to multiple vendors, and through to the purchase order. AI extracts each vendor reply into a Purchase Quote; an optional agent can do it for you.

What BCRFQ does

One Business Central document for the whole request-for-quote cycle — no separate vendor portal, no offline spreadsheets, no lost versions.

01

Customer inquiry to Sales Quote

A customer request, typed in or forwarded to a monitored mailbox, becomes an inquiry with the original email kept on the card, then converts into a Sales Quote you send out as an RFQ.

02

AI extraction from vendor replies

Vendor quotes arrive as PDF, Excel, or plain-text email. AI extracts item codes, quantities, prices, and currency into structured Purchase Quote lines, matched to your item catalogue.

03

Optional automation agent

A background Business Central agent can read inbound vendor replies and customer inquiries and update the documents for you — or you review every line by hand. It is optional.

04

Compare and convert

A side-by-side matrix shows every vendor’s price, MOQ, and lead time, rolls the chosen cost onto the Sales Quote, and turns the winner into a Purchase Order in one click.

From request to purchase order

Step 01

Start the request

Begin with a customer inquiry that converts into a Sales Quote, or create an RFQ directly — pick items, quantities, delivery dates, and the vendors to invite.

Step 02

Send and capture

One email per vendor, each with a unique RFQ reference. Replies return by email, file upload, or a monitored mailbox and match back to the RFQ automatically.

Step 03

Extract, compare, convert

AI — or the agent — turns each reply into a Purchase Quote. Compare offers side by side and raise the purchase order; vendor prices roll up onto the Sales Quote too.

Built for multi-vendor sourcing on Business Central

Procurement teams

Buyers who send the same items to several vendors and compare offers before a PO. Stop retyping quotes from PDF and email into spreadsheets.

Sales teams

Sales engineers who answer customer inquiries with quotes — capture the request, price it, and see vendor costs next to the price you give the customer.

Manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors

Companies running 30+ active vendors and 10+ quotes a month that need a clear, auditable comparison before committing to a purchase.
